Situated in the region of Murcia, Spain on the Costa Calida, enjoy the sea air and sunshine from this beach front apartment.

The apartment is situated only 20m from the beach, you really couldn't be any nearer. The shore of Mar Menor is literally right outside the door, a large salt-water lagoon separated from the Mediterranean by La Manga, a 20km long strip of land. This unique area offers safe bathing from and water sports in waters which are normally 10 degrees warmer that the Med. Its mineral rich high saline waters are believed to alleviate arthritis and skin conditions. There are salt lakes nearby which attract flamingoes.  Perfect for families or couples, this really is a lovely part of Spain.

 Sleeps 6.  2 bedrooms, one with double bed with aircon, one with twin beds. 

The lounge has aircon, a double sofa bed, dining table, tv and dvd. 

The well equipped kitchen has a fridge-freezer, hob, microwave and washing machine. There is a hairdryer, iron and ironing board for your use. 

The bathroom has a bath and shower. There is seating on the balcony, where you can relax and look out to the sea.

There are a choice of bars / restaurants locally, serving a range of spanish and british food and pizzas. There is also a pharmacy, supermarket with fresh produce, ice cream parlour and a couple of beach bars. 

You can hire bicycles, windsurfers and sailing boats. There are schools for kite-surfing and  water-skiing. There is a go-cart track nearby, tennis and horse riding stables all within a short walk. You can also hire baby equipment locally should you need it.  There is a children's playground just outside the main door, there are two swimming pools, one for children.

If you would like to explore the surrounding area it has so much to offer. One of our favorite places is Cabo de Palos with its lovely fishing harbour lined with many fish restaurants, stroll to the lighthouse or watch the catch of the day being brought ashore. You can pick up some bargains at the Sunday market. Fishing and diving trips are all available here. Get there by car in 5 minutes, or 20 minutes on foot.

If you love unspoiled undeveloped beaches,  then a visit to Calblanque nature reserve is a must.  Enjoy the nature trails and beautiful coastline, only 15 minutes away.

The nearest golf course is La Manga Club is just 5 minutes away with its 3 18 hole golf courses, and for non-golfing visitors - tennis courts, gym, spa, squash, restaurants and casino and nightly entertainment open to the public all year round. There are many other golf courses in the area.

La Manga strip has a huge choice of restaurants, shops, bars and nightlife in its various areas and marinas, along with miles of sandy beaches. Try some outstanding seafood in restaurants lining the Med.

The historic town of Cartagena is approx. 20 minutes away by car. There are lots of shops, sightseeing and port to enjoy.  Motorsport enthusiasts can visit the Cartagena race track which often has track days and is just the other side of the town. Murcia city is about 45 kilometers away, being a university city there is plenty of life, great for shopping.

Many low cost airlines fly to Murcia, San Javier airport which is just a 20 minute drive away.  Car hire is available at the airport, or transfers can be arranged.  If driving, the nearest motorway is the AP7, there is also a railway station at Los Nietos 5 kilometers away.

The apartment is available for rent for full or part weeks. Please contact us for price for part weeks as the rate per night will depend on the time of year. There is a cleaning charge of £35.

June: £200 / 240 euros per week

July / August:  £300 / 360 euros per week

September:   £250 / 310 euros per week

October / November: £200 / 240 euros per week
